Part of Sac State's Summer Youth Academies, this in-person course introduces students to six illustrators and how each uses different tools and techniques to tell stories through pictures. Students experiment with these methods, then develop their own artistic voice using pastel, watercolor, and mixed media. They build core skills in drawing, color, and texture.
