Camp Kindness
Sacramento SPCA
An educational camp for children interested in animal welfare and becoming future pet owners. Through a simulated curriculum, campers follow shelter animals through intake, medical, behavior, and adoption - culminating in a mock adoption event on Day 3. Activities include shelter pet socialization, dog body language lessons, crafts, and presentations from SPCA staff and outside organizations.
