The Hawks group at Sacramento Waldorf School's Summer on the Land program serves students entering grades 5 and 6 with six weeks of immersive, themed outdoor education on a 22-acre campus in Fair Oaks. Each week explores a different theme - from natural art and celestial cycles to farm stewardship and the forces of nature - through hands-on projects, movement, drama, and gardening. Festive Fridays add guest artisans and collaborative experiences, and weekly bike rides along the American River Trail are a standout highlight.
